Intermediate Certificate in Wine ... Next session beginning January 14, 2008 Price: $550.00
The Intermediate Certificate is the ideal foundation for those with little knowledge of wine, or for those who have depth of knowledge regarding particular types of wine, but who lack a true breadth of knowledge of all the world's wines.
This program enables students to interpret wine and spirits labels, explains the fundamentals of wine-tasting, and gives basic advice on wine selection and service.

This course requires 16 hours of instruction, and culminates in a one hour
multiple-choice exam administered through the WSET.

Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits
The Advanced Certificate in Wines & spirits is
the appropriate course for those who already have
a broad foundation of wine knowledge. It covers the
major wine regions of the world in more depth and
detail than the Intermediate Certificate.
This course requires 37 hours of instruction,
and culminates in an exam including multiple-choice
and short answer questions, as well as a blind
tasting of one wine.

The Advanced Certificate is required of applicants
for the WSET Diploma course.
